Sunny San Diego was the setting for the 25th anniversary of the NARPM Annual Convention and Trade Show, held October 15 – 18 at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla for residential property managers and owners. Propertyware once again was a proud sponsor and participant at the event where we had a great time catching up with clients, meeting up with old friends, and forging new relationships. Here is a recap of our time at the conference:
October 15 – 4th Annual NARPM Charity Golf (and Hula Hoop) Tournament Twin Oaks Country Club, San Marcos, California
Before the convention started (Tuesday, October 15), Propertyware sponsored this year’s charity golf tournament, which raised tens of thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society and the Nice Guys of San Diego. It was a perfect day for golf…and hula hooping!
It was a day full of seeing old friends and meeting new connections – many fun memories to boot. Everyone was a good sport and gave it their best shots – below are a few pictures of the fun!
Jordan Dinardo (far left) of Propertyware and his team got creative with their hooping!

October 15 – NARPM Annual Past Presidents’ Dinner on the USS Midway
Wow! What can we say… this memorial site was quite a location for dinner. The volunteers who staff the USS Midway took many on tours of the Captain’s quarters, the bunks below and the control room above the deck area. Below are a few images from that evening:

October 16 – Grand Opening of the NARPM Exhibit Hall
Propertyware was out in force for the grand opening of the NARPM conference exhibit hall. Our booth was full of interested parties, current customers and new team members who will be having a direct impact on our clients’ property management successes.
October 17 – SEO 101 Session and Client Event
Keith Brown led a morning session on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 101. Lots of interest and great questions by the attendees. Many were fascinated with how the whole concept of SEO started years ago and how it has evolved into such a giant industry today.
Thursday evening, Propertyware hosted a client reception poolside at the Hyatt. The fire pits were lit, the skies were clear, the air crisp, making it a perfect fall evening to re-connect with customers and make introductions to new ones. Truly a memorable, fun evening for all.
Couldn’t attend the session? Here is the slide deck from Keith’s presentation.
Friday, October 18 – Facebook Session and Closing General Session
It seems that Facebook changes its rules almost by the minute and our very own Michael Cunningham led an afternoon session on Facebook Changes and What They Mean to You to provide attendees with this information so property managers can understand how posting to Facebook for their properties or community affects them.
